If you've been tossing and turning thinking about Olivia Wilde's secret salad dressing, Don't Worry Darling, we've got you covered.

The Wilde, Harry Styles and Jason Sudeikis love triangle is messy, unpleasant and sometimes simply heartbreaking. While we're not interested in delving into the he-said, she-said of the relationships, we were fascinated by Wilde's salad dressing and the hold it had on the internet.

Allegedly, Wilde has a special salad dressing she shared with ex Sudeikis and then did the same with Styles, which was seen as a betrayal. But today, Wilde revealed that her so-called 'secret' salad dressing recipe comes from Nora Ephron's 1983 book Heartburn, and is an incredibly basic dressing, similar to a traditional French vinaigrette.

Disappointing to say the least, but if you're curious, we have Ephron's recipe below:

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar

  • 2 Tbsp. Grey Poupon Dijon mustard

  • 6 Tbsp. olive oil

  • Salt and pepper

  • Salad greens

Instructions

Combine Grey Poupon mustard with red wine vinegar. Whisk and slowly incorporate olive oil until vinaigrette is thick and creamy. Serve over greens such as watercress, arugula or endive.

We asked Outside's in-house chef Biju Thomas if he had any recommendations on how to make the dressing a little more worthy of all the gossip and talk.

"It's very basic and tart," Thomas says. "There's some really interesting and very unusual things you can do to that blend."

Thomas suggests adding one of the following to the dressing recipe's first step:

  • 1 Tbsp. coffee grounds

  • 1 Tbsp. brewed early grey tea

  • 1 tsp. Molasses

"You always need a squeeze of lemon," Thomas adds. "And it would be fabulous with some fresh minced herbs and anchovies blended in.
