Olivia Rodrigo just revealed that she's not planning to respond to that track, even though she totally has new music on the way.

After much speculation on whether or not Olivia would write a brand new song in response to Sabrina Carpenter's "Skin", which many believe references Olivia's "Drivers License", she put the rumors to rest.

"I actually don’t know her at all," Olivia told Radio.com. "I think we’ve met once or twice in passing, but I’ve never had a conversation with her, so I don’t think I could write a song that was meaningful or emotional about somebody that I don’t know. But I think artists should be able to write about whatever they wanna write about."

Recently, Sabrina also shut down rumors that the song was a direct hit at Olivia while talking on the Zach Sang show.

"'Skin' — I can't stress this enough — is not about one person. I've had so many different experiences in the last year in my personal life and in my career where there was a lot happening and I couldn't do anything about it and I couldn't say anything 'cause it seemed like either way people were mad at me," Sabrina said.

Considering how close Sabrina and Olivia co-star, Joshua Bassett, are, they might end up seeing each other a bit in the future. But for now it seems that there are no hard feelings between the two, and they’d like rumors about their alleged feud to end.
