Olivia Rodrigo is definitely a Spicy Pisces. The Sour singer is the latest of dozens of celebs to hop on the no pants trend in favor of sheer tights or nothing at all, and Olivia put the cutest '90s grunge spin on it.
Olivia posted a mirror selfie sitting cross-legged in a makeup chair, wearing a yellow and red ringer tee with matching red lipstick, black high-top Converse, a pair of sheer black polka dot tights, and, well, no pants. The singer wore her dark hair down and accessorized with tiny dangling earrings.
"❤️," she captioned her post. That's a pretty normal caption for a pretty normal mirror selfie, right? Wrong — take a closer look at the background of Olivia's pic. The singer has a hanging wall calendar with June 30th marked with a massive heart (!!) and fans all over are guessing that 6/30 might be the day we *finally* get some new music.
"WAIT ARE WE GETTING OR2 ON JUNE 30TH?!?," commented a frantic fan. Others joked about how this potential Easter egg was similar to the style of Easter eggs that Taylor Swift typically drops.
Olivia dropped "drivers license" (a song that basically held the viral power of a legit atomic bomb and blew up the entire Internet) in January 2021, and her full album Sour was released in May 2021, so it's been over two years since the singer released a new song.
Olivia has teased being back in the studio writing new music and releasing it in 2023, so we know that an album and hopefully some pre-album singles are OTW. So far, this cryptic teaser is all we know about a potential release date, but keep an eye out for more updates on these rumors.
