It’s the most wonderful time of the year—Spotify Wrapped is here! And Olivia Rodrigo, of course, dominated this year’s charts.

With over 1.1 billion streams (!), her hit “drivers license” was the top streamed song of 2021, both in the U.S. and worldwide. It’s not all too surprising that the ballad was a runaway success—back on January 11, ”driver’s license” set Spotify’s record for most streams in a single day with 15.17 million global streams. The next day, on January 12, it broke its own record with 17.01 million listens.

“good 4 u” also made the top five most streamed songs list. The anthem fell behind Lil Nas X’s “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)” and The Kid Laroi’s “STAY (with Justin Bieber),” but beat out Dua Lipa’s “Levitating.”

The wins don’t end there, however. Olivia’s debut, “Sour,” also earned the number one spot as most globally streamed album. She ranked above Dua Lipa’s “Future Nostalgia,” Justin Bieber’s “Justice,” Ed Sheeran’s “=”, and Doja Cat’s “Planet Her.”

Bad Bunny earned the title of most streamed artist in 2021, garnering over 9.1 billion listens. Following close behind was Taylor Swift, then BTS, Drake, and Justin Bieber.
