Olivia Newton-John announced in a Facebook post on Tuesday afternoon that she is postponing her upcoming tour dates after being diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time in her life.

This news comes shortly after Newton-John, 68, postponed the May dates of her tour and cancelled her meet and greets for the June dates of her concerts due to the severe back pain that originally was thought to be caused by sciatica issues, but turned out to be breast cancer that had metastasized to the sacrum.

Her statement remained upbeat and shared her hopes to return to her concert schedule later this year after a short course of photon radiation therapy, "in addition to natural wellness therapies."

"I decided on my direction of therapies after consultation with my doctors and natural therapists and the medical team at my Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre in Melbourne, Australia," Newton-John said in the statement.

The singer was touring her album LIV ON, which included inspirational songs about dealing with personal issues including the loss of her sister Rona to brain cancer in 2013 and her previous breast cancer diagnosis in 1992.

For anyone who had tickets to her upcoming concerts, you can contact the venues directly for information about refunds. Rescheduled dates will be posted to OliviaNewton-John.com.
