  • This weekend, Olivia Newton-John will be auctioning off more than 500 items from her personal collection to raise money for her cancer wellness center.

  • On Monday, the Grease star posted a video about the auction to her Instagram.

  • Fans have been commenting like crazy on the post, calling out how good Olivia looks in the video.

It's finally here! After months of teasing, pop icon Olivia Newton-John is hosting a two-day auction of more than 500 items from her personal collection this weekend. The event, which will be held by Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills, will feature such prized possessions as Olivia's iconic leather outfit from the end of Grease, and will raise money for her hospital, the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre in Australia.

Ahead of the upcoming auction, Olivia posted a video on her Instagram page on Monday in which she jokingly appealed to supermodel Gigi Hadid (who dressed up as her Grease character, Sandy, for Halloween in 2015) to buy the real costume this weekend.

Although Olivia's quip about Gigi's costume was clever, the Grease star's fans seemed more interested in how happy and healthy she looked in the clip. They quickly took to the comment section of her post to leave heartfelt notes like the following:

  • "YOU look so so well. What a beautiful woman."

  • "It's so heart warming [sic] seeing you so happy."

  • "You look absolutely fantastic, which is so wonderful to see."

Olivia publicly announced her third cancer diagnosis in September 2018 and has clearly had many people cheering her on ever since. And even though she's only made a handful of public appearances this year, Olivia has recently been saying that she's "doing great" — something that she attributes to both the mix of pharmaceutical and herbal medicines she's taking to combat her symptoms, and her positive mindset.

"It's really a decision," Olivia told GoodHousekeeping.com in September. "I talk to my body and I thank it for every step it makes of improvement. And I thank it anyway! It's really a practice because you create your world by what you think."
