Olivia Jade Giannulli debuted a new hair color inspired by her mom, Lori Loughlin.

The 22-year-old influencer, who goes by Olivia Jade, posted a series of photos to Instagram on Tuesday where she showed off her new red hair. She also included a screenshot of text messages with Loughlin, where the actress responded to her daughter's new look with a photo of herself rocking the same color during her days on Full House.

Olivia, who is the youngest of Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli's two daughters, also shared the hair transformation in her latest YouTube video where she said that she was "really nervous" about coloring her hair.

"I never touch my hair ever. I'm scared to dye my hair, I'm scared to mess it up," she said. "I've lightened it here and there but not really that much."

Nevertheless, she arrived at the hair salon with a photo of her mom as Aunt Becky to show as a reference to her colorist. "This is the inspo, my mom," she explained.

After sharing the final result, Olivia admitted that she hadn't warned either of her parents about the big change. "Mom, please don't get mad at me," she said. "Technically, you did it first."

People commenting on Olivia's Instagram post couldn't help but point out the resemblance to her mother.

"You and your mom are exactly the same person," one person wrote.

Another suggested, "You should do a video recreating one of your moms old looks."

Olivia had taken a hiatus from posting online after her parents' involvement in the 2019 college admissions scandal. A college freshman at the University of Southern California at the time, Olivia didn't finish her first year before dropping out as a result of the public attention and scrutiny. She eventually returned to YouTube, where she currently has 1.82 million subscribers, in Dec. 2019. Olivia later competed on Season 30 of Dancing With the Stars in 2021.
