Olivia Culpo Reveals Her Number One Eyebrow Hack

Olivia Culpo isn’t one to be caught looking anything other than absolutely stunning when out and about in the public eye. While there’s definitely a good amount of genetics to blame for Olivia’s good looks, it’s important to note that her beauty routine plays a big part in the actress’s look as well (have you seen that always-glowing skin?).

Luckily for us, Olivia opened up to People.com to spill some of her best beauty secrets. But it wasn’t her skincare routine or makeup hacks that piqued our interest the most, it was Culpo’s trick for taming those enviable, full eyebrows she’s so well-known for.

In order to keep them from looking scraggly, Culpo revealed that she uses hairspray to keep her brows in place.

First, she sprays a spoolie with L'Oreal’s Elnett Satin Hairspray ($15) and then brushes her brows until they’ve been groomed into the desired shape. Sounds easy enough, but does it actually work? Yahoo Health spoke with Joey Healy, celebrity brow specialist and founder of the Joey Healy Eyebrow Studio, about whether or not Olivia’s eyebrow trick is worth trying ourselves.

“When in a pinch, this solution could prove effective if you are without a brow specific gel,” says Joey. “The result can give you some real hold.” But Healy definitely doesn’t recommend this as an everyday solution. “ The high alcohol content in most hairsprays can leave a film on the eyebrow, causing it to have an unpleasant crunchiness and flake off in white dandruff-like particles.”

Flakey brows? Not the most appealing look. So, keep Olivia’s eyebrow trick in mind for occasions when you’re lacking brow products, otherwise stick to your regular eyebrow grooming techniques!
