Okay, So G-Eazy Finally Addressed Those Demi Lovato Dating Rumors

Earlier this week, the internet collectively gasped over speculation that Demi Lovato and G-Eazy were dating after they were MAYBE-but also maybe not, considering there were no photos taken of G-Eazy's actual face?-spotted leaving a nightclub holding hands. For what it's worth, fans on Twitter were convinced the man in question wasn't G-Eazy, but either way a rumor was born. And now G-Eazy's addressing it. While speaking to ET on the 2018 ESPY Awards red carpet, the newly blonde rapper was asked about his relationship status with Demi Lovato and said she was "just a friend." Welp, guess that clears that up!

FYI, these dating rumors come just weeks after Halsey announced via Instagram that she and G-Eazy had broken up, saying "I normally keep this kind of thing private but provided our public nature I feel the need to inform my fans. G-Eazy and I are taking some time apart."

She's since implied via Twitter that G-Eazy cheated on her thanks to 1) A scissors emoji which fans assumed was a reference to G-Eazy's lyrics, "Ever catch me cheating, she would try to cut my d*ck off," and 2) the words "pumpkin eater," which fans assumed was a reference to the rhyme "cheater, cheater pumpkin eater."

Ugh, Summer 2018 is complicated.
