OK History Center hosts discussion on history of food in Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – The Oklahoma History Center is hosting a roundtable discussion regarding the history and evolution of food in the Sooner State.

Officials say the discussion is planned for Wednesday, May 8, from 6-9 p.m. at the Chesapeake Event Center, located inside the Oklahoma History Center. The discussion will take place from 6-8 p.m. followed by refreshments and a networking hour from 8-9 p.m.

During the discussion, historians and current restaurant owners from the Oklahoma City metro will talk about the history and development of the food industry and restaurants in the state.

According to OHC, this is also an all-you-can-eat event, with a suggested $5 donation per guest. Those looking to attend will need to register beforehand as space is limited.
