Offset and Quavo Wear Coordinated Metallics on the MTV VMAs Red Carpet
Offset and Quavo coordinated their metallic red carpet looks when they arrived at the 2018 MTV VMAs in New York City.
Cardi B just made her first public appearance since she gave birth to baby Kulture over a month ago in a velvet fuchsia gown with a super high slit, but husbandOffset isn’t one to be upstaged. The Migos member made quite a different red carpet statement by opting for something a bit more casual: Offset donned a Louis Vuitton bucket hat with some signature blinged-out chains and lustrous silver pants.
Quavo, for his part, similarly went for a metallic color palette, wearing a satiny caramel-colored sports jacket with a textured three-quarter zip underneath that almost resembled the jagged face of a rocky cliff.
Migos members usually match at least some elements of their outfits for red carpet appearances—as they did with their sequined Versace suits that they wore to the Met Gala earlier this year—but the effect was a bit muted this time around given Takeoff’s conspicuous absence. Even though he’s not physically there, he’s surely watching at home in something similarly metallic.
