If you were missing her on America's Next Top Model, you're in luck. It looks like Tyra Banks will be replacing Nick Cannon as the host of America's Got Talent next season. While we loved Cannon in the role, we definitely feel like Banks is a truly solid choice. Because, know what this show needed? Some smizing and booty tooches. (And if those phrases are meaningless to you, just know that they're modeling moves to help you look a little more fierce.)

Cannon was pretty much a staple on the show, hosting from 2009 to 2016. In fact, the show helped make him a household name to many of us.

The show, which has been on air since 2006, showcases Americans with strange, peculiar, and impressive talents. The premise is definitely what attracted Banks to the gig.

"Since I was a little girl, I've been obsessed with grandiose acts and performers who make the seemingly impossible possible," Banks said in a press release, as reported by E! News. "I love how AGT brings that feeling into everyone's home, capturing the best of people who come out and give it their all to make those big, fierce and outrageous dreams come true."

It looks like Howie Mandel, who has been a judge on the show for multiple years, is already embracing the news.

If that's the kind of adorable interaction we can expect, we're really looking forward to the start of next season. From the looks of it, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Simon Cowell will also return to judge the new batch of performers.

We think that Banks will definitely be a fun addition to the show, and can't wait to see her back in the spotlight!
