Between the long wait times, endless polish options, and time spent under a dryer, I’m more than happy with painting my nails at home or in most cases—not painting them at all. In the years since I first started playing with polish (middle school) and now (hello 30!), I’ve watched gel technology become the gold standard, thanks to its longer-lasting results.
