Zoe Saldaña has been on something of a fashion whirlwind.
While on her press tour to promote her forthcoming film—the highly anticipated Avatar: The Way of Water—the actress worked with stylist Petra Flannery to deliver one high-fashion look after another. From sheer ballet-inspired pieces to futuristic takes on modern suiting, we break down all of her best looks below.
December 12
For the U.S. premiere of Avatar: The Way of Water, Saldaña wore a black velvet dress with an abstract skirt from Schiaparelli's fall winter 2022 couture collection.
Stylist Petra Flannery shared an extra look on Instagram from the Avatar Tokyo premiere, where she dressed Saldaña in a sparkling one-shoulder evening gown from the Alexandre Vauthier fall winter 2022 couture collection.
December 9
While in Seoul, the actress sparkled in a midnight black strappy minidress and matching pantaboots covered in shimmering sequins.
Earlier, she put a sophisticated spin on feminine suiting, wearing baggy split hem trousers in black and an oversized white blazer rolled up to her elbows. She styled the look with a slinky cami tank top and a pair of strappy black heels.

At the world premiere of Avatar: The Way of Water, Saldaña in a sheer black ball gown from Alexander McQueen. The breathtaking dress included a corset with blue, black, and silver beads and sequins, embroidered straps, and a delicate tulle skirt.

Attending a photo-call for the Avatar sequel in London, Saldaña wore a seemingly ballet-inspired ensemble fresh off Victoria Beckham's spring/summer 2023 ready-to-wear runway. The all-black outfit consisted of a sheer top with ruffled cape sleeves and a matching, asymmetrical skirt. Underneath, she wore a scalloped black bralette and patterned tights. She finished the look with pointed black platform pumps and an array of rings.
Later in the day, the star swapped her monochromatic fit for another all-black look, this time by Saint Laurent. She looked effortlessly cool in a plain tank top tucked into a velvet maxi skirt. Accessories included multiple silver bangles and a black patent-leather clutch.

Saldaña put a futuristic spin on suiting during a panel for Avatar at the Comic Con Experience in São Paulo, Brazil, where she wore a cream set from Balmain's spring/summer 2023 ready-to-wear collection. The corseted, zip-up top included gold quilted detailing, which stood in stark contrast to the billowing trousers' oversized silhouette.
Flannery shared a photo of Saldaña in another outfit during the event, in which she made a vibrant appearance in a hot pink ruffled maxi skirt and a graphic tank top by Giambattista Valli.

Saldaña put a feminine twist on the nine-to-five uniform during a guest appearance on Good Morning America, where she paired a speckled gray blazer with a bright red patent-leather midi skirt with a thigh-high leg slit. She tucked a white button-down and a black tie into the skirt, while a thick black belt with a large silver buckle cinched the fit together.
Saldaña later changed into a lavender satin blouse and matching flared midi skirt from Lafayette 148, which she wore with a black blazer coat and caramel-colored pumps.
She ended her day with a glamorous appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. There, the actress looked like a vision in a sequined black gown from Michael Kors Collection, which featured a plunging neckline and ruched detailing at the center.
