Simpson shared his thoughts hours before Alex Murdaugh was found guilty of murder.

After being asked by his Twitter followers, O.J. Simpson revealed his thoughts on the Alex Murdaugh murder trial.

"Hey Twitter world, it's me, yours truly. A whole lot of people have been asking me what I think about this Alex Murdaugh trial. I don't know why they think I'm an expert on it," Simpson, was acquitted for the murders of his estranged wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman in 1995, wrote on the social media site.

He continued, "I gotta admit, when he took the stand, the guy who's a habitual liar, I did watch. When the trial first started, I watched him take the stand, and I thought it was a mistake because the guy is an admitted liar and it's hard for me to think he could be on the stand for 5, 6, 7, 8 days without lying."

Simpson also shared his observations on how Murdaugh attempted to cover up his alleged crimes on the stand.

"Lying and stealing money is a little different than murder. I realized in watching him testify what he was doing," said Simpson. "He was just trying to relay to one or two of the jurors that he's a good ol' boy, like one of them. And I'm not sure he didn't succeed in doing that."

As for his thoughts on whether Murdaugh is actually guilty of killing his son Paul and wife Maggie, Simpson said he was "not qualified" to say so. Simpson did note, however, that he thinks it's "more likely" that Murdaugh murdered his family.

Simpson also noted Murdaugh should be investigated further for the 2018 death of his housekeeper, Gloria Satterfield. The Murdaugh family alleged Satterfield died after the family dog jumped on her while she was at the top of the stairs, causing her to tumble.

After the housekeeper passed, Murdaugh told her sons he would go to his insurance company and settle medical bills, but instead stole over $4 million of the insurance settlement.

Simpson's video was uploaded hours before Murdaugh was found guilty on all counts for killing Paul and Maggie. On March 3, he was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
