NYPD and ASPCA Find Tragic Scene in Queens Leading to Investigation

Our hearts shattered into a million pieces.

The New York Police Department is teaming up with the ASPCA for two separate investigations relating to animal cruelty. Be prepared for this one because it is sure to break your heart into a million pieces. All we know is that we don't understand how anyone could do this to animals.

In the first incident, 14 cats were discovered outside a building and unfortunately, none of the precious babies made it. How could anyone do such a thing? Take a look at the newscast from ABC7 to hear more about these incidents that occurred in Queens. Just be prepared to cry.

Ugh, we are so saddened to hear about this. We will never understand how anyone could just throw away all those cats. Officials believe the cats were thrown over the fence. Those poor babies. We hope the investigation leads to a discovery of who did this.

Five very injured stray cats were also discovered in a separate incident. Ugh, our hearts can't take it. These cats were taken to a local shelter that is taking care of them. We're hoping and praying for a speedy recovery for these babies. They deserve a second chance and life and a family who will love them endlessly.

"It's one of the most tragic and heartbreaking things I've ever had to look at, I had to take breaks and go back into my car -- it was just horrible," Meagan Licari, President of Puppy Kitty NYCity, told ABC7. We can't even imagine what it would've been like to discover these cats. We surely hope they never have to find anything like this ever again.
