Wouldn’t life be better if everything was covered in Nutella? Well, there’s one place in the world where you can do just that, and it’s called the Nutella Cafe.

In this little confectionery in Chicago, you can enjoy Nutella in every way imaginable—from frothy hot drinks to creamy frozen ice pops. Baked goods are smothered, stuffed, and drizzled with the rich tasty treat. When your sweet tooth has a craving for the chocolate-hazelnut spread, there’s no better place to be.

This eatery is for the most serious Nutella lovers, those who might be caught eating out of the jar with a spoon late at night (sorry, not sorry). On the outside, it looks like an average, stylish cafe, but behind the scenes, it’s almost the "Willy Wonka Factory" for Nutella.

This first-of-its-kind cafe, created in honor of the nutty Italian confection, was founded by Ferraro (Nutella's manufacturer) in May of 2017, and it has been serving up delicious snacks to lucky Chicago residents ever since.

Unfortunately, Chicago is the only city with a Nutella Cafe in business at the moment. The Union Square shop in NYC (the second U.S. location) had a relatively short lifespan, closing its doors in early 2021 after opening in late 2018.

The cafe is the perfect spot for a quick coffee run or a leisurely, full-scale breakfast. The carefully-crafted menu includes delicious options from Nutella-coated pancakes to pound cake “Panzanella” with a Nutella finish. Every sweet treat aims to deliver the "ultimate Nutella experience."

Here are some of the best menu items we’d buy a ticket to Chicago for.

Nutella Greek Yogurt Parfait

A simply sweet breakfast, this greek yogurt parfait is layered with texture and flavor from the granola, berries, and Nutella toppings. Yogurt has never looked better.

Nutella Gourmet Espresso

Is it just us, or does this whipped cream-topped Nutella coffee look too gorgeous to drink? When hazelnut chocolate flavoring is in the picture, "mocha" takes on an entirely new meaning.

Grilled Banana Bread with Nutella

You know you love Nutella-banana sandwiches, but have you ever tried Nutella banana bread? The sweet, moist slice gets a caramelized finish on the grill before it’s topped with fresh bananas, chopped hazelnuts, and a thick Nutella drizzle.

Nutella Croissant

Try as you might, you’ll never beat the classic Nutella croissant. Bite through the flaky, buttery layers of pastry and you’ll hit a gooey Nutella center for a taste that can instantly boost any mood.

Nutella Shortbread Sandwich Cookies

Crumbly shortbread cookies and smooth, creamy Nutella? A match made in dessert heaven. Paired with a cup of coffee, there’s no better afternoon treat.
