Nurses Appreciation Week runs until May 12—though it should be year-round. To honor the occasion, I made sure my friends and family in the field knew how much I appreciate the work that they do. The long, back-to-back shifts, hard conversations, and being constantly on the move is not for the faint of heart. So, in the chaotic, fast-paced world of nursing, the last thing they should have to worry about is whether their footwear is comfortable.
