You Can Now Spend the Night In the Barndominium From 'Fixer Upper'

From Country Living

You can cover your home in shiplap, add subway tile to you kitchen, and install sliding barn doors in your home, but if you really want the Joanna Gaines design experience, you have to live in one of her renovations yourself-and now you can!

One of Joanna Gaines' favorite projects from season three (you may remember it from episode six), the famous "barndominium" in Waco, Texas is now available to rent through HomeAway.

The remodeled home was a standout project for several reasons. It was the first of its kind featured on the show, to start. Joanna had never tackled a barn to home renovation, hence the now renowned nickname-the barndominium.

Secondly, it was an expansive space on 16 acres with a somewhat unusual design, with the kitchen upstairs and a large hallway-like space downstairs used for a formal dining hall. And thirdly, the final design was truly breathtaking. From the stunning exterior and massive dining room table on the first floor, to the shiplap walls and the beautiful black-and-white tile work in the kitchen, this home is a beauty.

The homeowners asked Joanna for a space that was perfect for entertaining, which is the primary feature of this home. It has five bedrooms, two bathrooms, large spaces for hosting friends, and sleeps 15 people for $1,200 a night. It would be the perfect place to host a girlfriends' weekend or family reunion.
