You Can Now Order Burgers from a Floating Food Truck (Via Jet Ski, of Course)
In case you need another reason to book a spontaneous winter getaway to Dubai, the world’s first floating food truck is scheduled to open there next month.
Wait, what? Yep, instead of standing in a long, sweaty line per tradition, customers can speed up ontheir Jet Skis, sailboats, yachts or heck, rafts to pick up a juicy burger. And there’s even “table service.” Just raise a special little flag from your boat deck, and a waiter will come over (uh, swim over?) to take your order and deliver the goods when they’re ready. How’s that for service?
Created by Aquatic Architects Design Studio, the pod is powered by electricity and has a sustainable waste system that collects any trash dropped by customers into the water. So it’s pretty great for the environment, too.
