Parents often resort to creative tactics to entertain their children (read: making clean-up fun, spending hours in forts, etc). Well, Disney and Columbia are making that parenting uphill battle a little easier this winter with their brand-new Frozen 2-themed outerwear line.
Kid won’t stop singing “Let It Go” or asking to “build a snowman” like Anna and Elsa? Regardless of your climate, you, too, can indulge your child’s Frozen-loving ways by subtly dressing up as their favorite character out in the wild. Think of all the tantrums you’ll be able to avoid if you’re wearing an Anna cape and whisper-singing “Love Is an Open Door” at the grocery store.
The Frozen 2 collection will be available on Columbia.com/Disney starting November 15, as well as at Columbia stores across the U.S. The line ranges in price from $40 to $500. Read on for more details about the Anna down cape, Elsa long down jacket and Kristoff interchangeable jacket for dad (because if you have to deal with this Frozen fixation, so does he).
As you’ll notice above, the new Columbia Frozen 2 collection is basically pulled straight from the movie. While Elsa’s down jacket ($500 for women, $300 for girls) may not come with her superpowers, it does include holographic Omni-Heat thermal reflective lining (for better visibility during those hours spent making snow angels and begrudgingly building snowman after snowman with your kid).
Anna’s cape ($500 for women, $300 for girls) is down and reflective, too, but this one comes in her signature autumnal tone and includes her wheat symbol from the movie. We do love attention to detail.
As for the Kristoff jacket ($500), it’s a 3-in-1 jacket with a waterproof-breathable Omni-Tech shell, removable Sherpa fleece liner and a Nordic-inspired print. Honestly, we’re tempted to purchase this for our partner and not tell him it’s modeled after a Frozen 2 character—ya know, so he wonders why people keep telling him he looks like Kristoff.
Anything to keep the kids occupied.
