November most popular conception month in North Carolina: study

NORTH CAROLINA (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Were you or your kids born in August? Chances are decently high as November is the most popular conception month in North Carolina.

A new study by AgeCalculator.com reveals that November is North Carolina’s most common conception month. October and December were a close second and third, respectively.

The same study revealed May, July and August to be the top three least common conception months in North Carolina, in that order.

“There’s a whimsical charm to the autumn and winter months that seems to ignite a special spark in many,” a spokesperson for AgeCalculator.com said. “Perhaps it’s the cozy evenings by the fireplace or the romantic allure of snowfall. Whatever the reason, the data suggest that these colder seasons witness a surge in conceptions.”

The fall months with higher conception rates could be attributed to the presence of holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s.
