What November's Taurus Horoscope Means for You

By the end of October, things started really shifting in your interpersonal relationships. Whether the changes were external or internal, your perception of partnership has changed radically. A new cycle begins on Wednesday, November 7 when a new moon in Scorpio (your opposite sign) blankets the sky. This is a great time to set your intentions, Taurus babe. Scorpio is connected to the earth’s very soil, so under this lunation, don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty. Remember, sometimes you need to dig deep in order to get to the root of a situation.

The new moon is perfectly partnered with another huge celestial shift: On Thursday, November 8, Jupiter changes signs. Since October of last year, Jupiter has been moving through Scorpio, triggering radical changes in your relationships. Remember, Taurus, not all bonds are romantic: Jupiter’s movement through Scorpio could have influenced dynamics with your friends, family, colleagues or classmates.

Now that those shifts have been solidified, it’s time to go even deeper. For the next year, Jupiter will be moving across the area of your chart associated with transformation. As this 13-month long transit kicks off, don’t be surprised if you’re hit with a wave of nostalgia. You may be inspired to sift through old photos, journal entries, or even reach out to someone from the past. There’s no harm in looking under the hood, Taurus love, but remember that we choose how much we want our past to inform our future. Be thoughtful with your choices, Taurus darling.

Venus was retrograde for 40 days and 40 nights and finally resumes forward motion on Friday, November 16. But alas, only a few hours later Mercury begins its own backward spin. I know, I know. While it may seem like the cosmos has a sick sense of humor, I can assure you all of these planetary reversals are not for naught.

Throughout Mercury retrograde, be careful with your communication. Under this sky, you’ll discover that ringing a former lover wasn’t that innocent after all. Whether you’re the one pursuing or being pursued, try not to make any big decisions until after Mercury goes direct on December 6.

Sagittarius season kicks off on Thursday, November 22 when the sun moves into this vivacious fire sign. For you, however, it may not feel quite as spirited. The end of the month will be about taking personal inventory and taking a good, hard look at your finances. The full moon in Gemini on Friday, November 23 will shine a light on whatever you’ve been avoiding.
