notwoways Pays Tribute to Surinamese Culture With Latest Sneaker Launch

notwoways is set to introduce KOYRI, the newest addition to its footwear lineup.

Inspired by the Surinamese term "to go for a walk," KOYRI carries deep cultural significance. For Rockwell Princely, Co-founder and Footwear Director at notwoways, it symbolizes a profound connection to his Surinamese heritage, bridging cultural gaps.

KOYRI is notwoways' fifth release, sharing the ergonomic Formula outsole design celebrated for comfort and suitability for those with wider feet. Its standout feature is the extended orange sole arrow, guarding against abrasion. The design pays homage to NTW's inaugural release with premium white leather uppers and grey suede overlays, blending contrasting shades of orange, black and ice blue.

This style incorporates a nylon mesh collar, an asymmetric tongue design and a concealed Velcro pocket for added innovation while reducing toe box creases. Iconic NTW elements blend comfort with a sleek high-top design.

KOYRI is launching on September 15 via notwoways' website.
