There’s a lot to love about a box of McNuggets, but our favorite part has to be choosing between McDonald’s array of sauces. The hype around the fast food chain’s sauce options is real—remember the celebration after they brought back their iconic Szechuan Sauce?

And now McDonald’s is treating us with not one, but two new sauce offerings. We might speak for everyone when we say that they sound amazing.

The first new sauce is Spicy & Sweet Jam Sauce, which is the first ever breakfast-inspired sauce to make the menu. The chain describes it as a jammy red pepper sauce that gets its heat from Szechuan peppercorns and cayenne, with a slight tang from apple cider vinegar.

The Sweet & Spicy Jam Sauce pairs perfectly with all things breakfast—think McMuffins, Biscuits, and hash browns. We could even see it acting as a savory stand-in for their classic Hotcakes syrup.

The second sauce, Mambo Sauce, draws inspiration from the Washington, D.C. area delicacy. The chain's version stays true to the Mambo sauce you can find in D.C.: a tomato-based sauce that has sweet, spicy, and tangy flavors.

Some say Mambo sauce tastes similar to barbecue sauce, but its versatility makes it a heavy-hitter in the McDonald’s sauce lineup. The chain’s culinary team recommends enjoying it with a burger, McNuggets, McCrispy, and of course, fries.

Both of these sauces will be at participating McDonald’s locations nationwide starting October 9th for a limited time, while supplies last.
