This Is Not a Drill: You Can Buy a 5-Pound Jar of Everything Bagel Seasoning on Amazon
We just can’t get enough everything bagel seasoning. Seriously: Those tiny jars they sell at the store don’t last more than two weeks in our house because we’re sprinkling the crunchy, seedy blend on scrambled eggs, avocado toast, pizza, pasta, stop us whenever. Pretty soon we’ll have to start scraping the seeds off our morning bagels every time we run out. Kidding—kind of.
So you can imagine our level of delight when we discovered that you can buy everything bagel seasoning mix in bulk quantities on Amazon. (This even beats the time we found out you can buy cheese powder in bulk on Amazon.) The blend of sesame seeds, salt, poppy seeds, garlic and onion is available to buy in a five-pound jar that probably won’t fit in our cabinet but we’re adding to our cart anyway.
If you’re not ready to fully commit to the sheer quantity of seedy goodness, don’t worry. There’s also a more manageable 24-ounce size. (You’ll get there someday.) At about $50, the five-pound baby isn’t exactly cheap. But that works out to 62 cents per ounce, which is a much better deal than the 2.3-ounce-for-$2 jars we’ve been buying at the grocery.
Thanks to free Prime shipping, we’re already brainstorming what foods we want to gild with our new stock of seasoning. We’ll start with everything bagel tomato galettes before moving on to everything bagel cauliflower rolls. After that, who knows? Popcorn? Potato wedges? The world is our bagel, apparently.
