1) 'My Little Girl' (1987)
J.Lo played the small (and non-speaking) role of Myra in this film about a teenage girl who agrees to work in a center for other girls who can't live with their parents. According to eagle-eyed movie watchers, J.Lo was in this scene, but not much else.

Nearly 10 years later, J.Lo snagged a much bigger part as "Young Maria" in this film chronicling three generations of an immigrant family's trials and triumphs. 9) 'Out of Sight' (1998)
J.Lo gets to share a steamy scene with George Clooney. He plays a career bank robber who breaks out of jail and kidnaps Jenny's character, Karen Sisco, a US Marshal. Eventually, she becomes attracted to his bad bad ways and... well, you'll just have to see the movie if you wanna know how it ends.
Rotten Tomatoes Classic Trailers@Youtube - 10/36
10) 'Antz' (1998)
Sure, Jenny looks great on the silver screen, but she's got a great speaking voice, too. So while you probably didn't know she was the voice of Azteca in this animated feature about (unsurprisingly) ants, it makes sense.
Paramount Movies@Youtube - 11/36
11) 'The Cell' (2000)
In this horror sci-fi movie, J.Lo plays Catherine Deane, a psychotherapist who the FBI recruits to go into the mind of a comatose serial killer so she can learn where he's hidden his latest victim. You, uh, might not want to watch this one late at night...

16) 'Gigli' (2003)
This critical flop finally got its redemption arc when Bennifer rekindled their flame in 2021. I love a comeback story! In this crime-tinged rom-com (a genre that may have started and ended with this flick), Jenny stars alongside Ben Affleck as Ricki, an assassin sent to make sure Gigli (Affleck's character) doesn't mess up a kidnapping job. Shenanigans—and romantic **feelings**—ensue as the duo goes on the run.
shadowfax6264@Youtube - 17/36
17) 'Jersey Girl' (2004)
Way before their legendary rekindling, J.Lo dated Ben on the set of Gigli and through Jersey Girl, too. Art kind of imitated life as Jenny played Gertrude Steiney, the wife of Ben's character, Ollie Trinke, who dies while giving birth to their daughter. Unprepared to take on parenthood alone, Ollie ends up ruining his career and moves back to New Jersey to raise his precocious daughter.

18) 'Shall We Dance' (2004)
Jenny's character, Paulina, turns silver fox John Clark's (played by Richard Gere) world upside down in this romantic comedy about ballroom dancing. Was this movie hinting at J.Lo's future as a World of Dance judge? Well, she's always had amazing moves...
Rotten Tomatoes Classic Trailers@Youtube - 19/36

22) 'Bordertown' (2007)
Another crime drama, another starring role for J.Lo. This time, she plays Lauren Adrian, a passionate reporter for the Chicago Sentinel who travels to Juarez, Mexico on the United States-Mexico border. There, she investigates a series of mysterious murders involving young female factory workers.

24) 'What To Expect When You're Expecting' (2012)
Jenny joined a star-studded cast (hiii Cameron Diaz and Anna Kendrick) in this movie about, well, what to expect when you're expecting. Lionsgate Movies@Youtube - 25/36
25) 'Ice Age: Continental Drift' (2012)
J.Lo again lent her beautiful voice to a cartoon character in the fourth installment of the Ice Age movie series. She voice-acted the part of Shira, a female saber-toothed cat.
Rotten Tomatoes Trailers@Youtube - 26/36

Jason Statham joins forces with J.Lo in this crime thriller about a good-hearted thief and real-estate agent (Leslie Rogers, Jenny's role). Together, they steal jewels from the bad guys who robbed them from an auction, so they're basically like a modern-day Robin Hood and Maid Marian.
Rotten Tomatoes Trailers@Youtube - 27/36
27) 'The Boy Next Door' (2015)
It was only a matter of time before Jenny combined all the genres of her previous movies into one, right? In this romantic crime horror thriller, she plays Claire Peterson, who separates from her unfaithful husband and then falls for the

31) 'Second Act' (2018)
J.Lo plays Maya Vargas, an assistant manager at a big box store. After getting passed over for a management position because she never went to college (ouch), Maya decides to reinvent her life and ends up showing Madison Avenue that you don't need book smarts to be successful.
STXfilms@Youtube - 32/36
32) 'Hustlers' (2019)
J.Lo took on what might be her most challenging role to date in Hustlers. Transforming herself into Ramona, she became the ringleader of a group of savvy strippers who took on Wall Street after the 2008 financial crisis—one client at a time. Constance Wu, Julia Stiles, Cardi B, Kiki Palmer, and Lili Reinhart rounded out the star-studded cast, but J.Lo blew audiences away with a jaw-dropping pole dance routine wearing "dental floss." (And who could forget her character's #iconic first line: "Doesn't money make you horny?" Not. Me.)
Btw, J.Lo's performance earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role and a Spotlight Award, Actress at the Palm Springs Film Festival.
MTV UK@Youtube - 33/36
33) 'Marry Me' (2022)
A new decade brought a new J.Lo rom-com to theaters. She was a natural playing pop superstar Kat Valdez, but that's where art and real life diverged. Kat's rocker fiancé dumped her moments before their Madison Square Garden wedding (cue the yiiiikes). Rather than being left at almost-the-altar, Kat picks a random guy from the crowd to marry instead, and then the real fun begins.
Universal Pictures@Youtube - 34/36
34) 'Halftime' (2022)
The world finally knows what went down in the months leading up to J.Lo's Super Bowl LIV halftime show, and then some. Halftime chronicles Jennifer's career from growing up in the Bronx to leaving home at age 18 to become a dancer on In Living Color, and then pursuing a film career followed by music.
Featuring behind-the-scenes footage on her feelings post her Golden Globe and Oscar snubs, viewers also got to witness her work with Shakira to build their halftime performance, which included impressive pole-dancing, guests J Balvin and Bad Bunny, and an important message regarding human rights with J.Lo's decision to include kids in cages towards the end (which the NFL attempted to pull at the last minute).
While the "On the Floor" singer called the double headliner performance "the worst idea in the world," she sure pulled it off.

35) 'The Mother' (2022)
This upcoming action thriller stars J.Lo alongside Joseph Fiennes and Omari Hardwick. Although it's unclear when exactly the movie will premiere this year, the plot is about a mother (duh) who is also an assassin, trying to escape assailants in an attempt to protect her daughter, whom she abandoned, per IMDb.
NETFLIX - 36/36
36) 'Shotgun Wedding' (2023)
The latest J. Lo flick combines a few genres into one (Jenny from the Block just doesn’t like fitting in one box–and who could blame her!).
Shotgun Wedding, which is available to stream on Amazon Prime, follows Darcy (J. Lo) and Tom (Josh Duhamel) as their destination wedding turns into a hostage situation. If there’s one thing that makes a J. Lo movie better, it’s adding Josh Duhamel to the mix.
The film begins with the couple’s struggle to please their families, but Darcy and Tom actually end up having to save their guests from abductors. Casual. The film also stars A-list actors like Jennifer Coolidge and Lenny Kravitz. Plus, the cast chemistry will undoubtedly be amazing, as they reportedly all lived together while filming.
