Attention all John Mulaney lovers, this one's for you: Approximately 48 hours after filling to divorce his wife, Anna Marie Tendler—who he's been married to for six whole years, by the way—John is allegedly in a brand new relationship! According to People, John is reportedly dating Olivia Munn, which TBH feels like one of the most random and mind-boggling celebrity relationships to come out of 2021 (sorry, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker easily take first place).
A source close to the couple told the outlet that John and Olivia are indeed together, and that their relationship is in the very beginning stages. "This is very new, they're taking it slowly," a separate source added. "They met at church in Los Angeles." Neither John or Olivia's camp have confirmed the dating rumors, and that seems like the best course of action as this news has left me—and several others, I am sure—feeling like this:
So...how is Anna doing at the moment? Short answer: Not so great. Anna issued a statement via her representative to People on Monday that said, "I am heartbroken that John has decided to end our marriage." Nevertheless, Anna still wants the best for John—"I wish him support and success as he continues his recovery," she added.
John, on the other hand, didn't provide much comment on the divorce news. His spokesperson issued a statement to Page Six, which stated that "John will not have any further comment as he continues to focus on his recovery and getting back to work."
