As Norway significantly reduces the lockdown restrictions put in place for the coronavirus pandemic, many families are now able to reunite for the first time in months. The Norwegian royal family is no exception, and the brood was recently able to convene as a group for some elegant outdoor dining.

In a new photo posted on the official Norwegian royal family Instagram account, three generations of royals gathered for lunch outside at the King and Queen's private holiday home, Mågerø, in southern Norway. King Harald V and Queen Sonja, both looked excited to be back with their family, as Queen Sonja posed at the head of the table, while King Harald can be spotted in the front right seat.

Other family members at the meal included King Harald's son and heir to the Norwegian throne, Crown Prince Haakon; his wife, Crown Princess Mette-Marit; and their children, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus. Also at the meal was King Harald's daughter, Princess Martha Louise; and her kids, Maud Angelica; Leah Isadora; and Emma Tallulah. However, Emma is not pictured as the eleven-year-old royal was behind the camera, capturing the special moment.

The photo's sweet caption read, "Kongefamilien ønsker alle sammen en riktig god sommer!" which roughly translates to "The royal family wishes everyone a very good summer!"

The Norwegian royal family's reunion comes as royals around the world head back to work, due to the loosening of lockdown orders. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, for example, have made more public appearances as of late, including attending an afternoon tea at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and visiting researchers working on a coronavirus vaccine.
