North Little Rock hosts 20th annual Doublebees Buzz-BQ
NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – If you live in North Little Rock, you may have smelled it in the air Saturday, a massive barbecue happening down by the Arkansas River.
The 20th Doublebees Buzz-BQ hosted by KABZ 103.7 challenged dozens to put their cooking skills to the test.

There were more than 50 cook teams in the “pro joe” and “average joe” competitions, serving up pork, ribs, chicken, sauce, brisket and side dishes.
The audience got to be the judges for this, giving our more than $90,000 dollars to the winners.
Attendees paid for tickets to participate in the judging and proceeds from the sales will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas and north Louisiana.
