If New York Fashion Week has got you feeling run down and dried out, well, Normani has some motivation for you.

The musician recently performed at Alexander Wang’s party with Bulgari, bringing her dance moves and excellent taste to the NYFW scene. Before she hit the stage at the former Henri Bendel store, Normani gave Vogue an exclusive look at how she gets ready for an event of this scale.

Things start off with her stylist, where she tries on a number of Wang pieces. The high-rise boxers and denim short shorts are good—but the oversized sweatshirt runs the risk of concealing Normani’s curves. In the end, a sports bra works out.
