Normani mixed an endless series of spring and summer trends together to form the outfit of the season.

The “Motivation” musician appeared on designer Brandon Blackwood’s Instagram last night, posing with the brand’s new bamboo tote. The ensemble also included a daring cutout yellow crop top and a semi-sheer ribbed maxi skirt.

The outfit channeled one of the 2021 Pantone Colors of the Year; bright daffodil yellow has already been spotted on the likes of Irina Shayk, Rita Ora, Gigi Hadid and more these past few weeks alone. Amongst a revitalization of 1990s and early 2000s silhouettes, cutout tops, pants and dresses are making a triumphant return to the celebrity style scene this season.

As for footwear, the former Fifth Harmony member tapped into another trend for the season with her choice of sandals. The beige heels wrapped across her foot for a bold moment, all set atop a towering lift that appeared to measure close to 4 inches in height. Favored by Kim Kardashian, Lizzo, Cardi B and more for 2021, ankle-wrap heels snake across the ankle and calf for a standout punch and a supported fit.

Normani is no stranger to an on-trend outfit either. For example, “Dancing With a Stranger” singer broke out another take the biggest color for Teen Vogue last year with another must-have silhouette: suits.

Suiting up has become the new normal amongst celebrity style trends thus far in 2021, potentially led in part by the first-ever female Vice President Kamala Harris and her neverending lineup of perfectly tailored power suits. Stars including Heidi Klum, Christina Aguilera, Tracee Ellis Ross and more have already pulled off the trend this season with more bold looks to come.

Beyond her own daring attire, you can find Normani in campaigns for Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty collections as well as for Urban Decay makeup as a Global Citizen ambassador for the brand.
