I’m in desperate need of some retail therapy, but I’ve been holding off on shopping in order to snag some savings during the Memorial Day sales. But instead of browsing through multiple retailers looking for the best deal, I can shop my favorite brands all in one place during Nordstrom’s Half-Yearly Sale. The retailer dropped major discounts on pieces from Madewell, Levi’s, Free People, Topshop, and more for up to 61 percent off. So, I went through all 8,000+ new markdowns and rounded up eight on-sale summer styles that are currently in my cart, and you can shop them below.

As a former tank top designer, a quality option is a non-negotiable for summer, and Madewell has the best on the market. So, when I saw that the Supima Cotton Rib Cutaway Tank was on sale for 25 percent off, it was an immediate add-to-cart. It comes in eight colors: gray, black, white, blue, and orange and sizes 2XS to 2XL. It has a scooped neckline with a thick rib finish, wide straps that fully conceal a bra, and a super stretchy and breathable fabric. The fit sits close to the body and the length falls to the hip when completely stretched out.

Treasure and Bond Bias-Cut Midi Skirt

The weather hasn’t gotten too hot yet here in Maryland, but I’m bracing myself for inevitable heat waves by shopping breezy pieces like Treasure and Bond’s Bias-Cut Midi Skirt. The midi-length skirt comes in black, navy, pink, and floral, plus sizes 2XS to XL. It’s made from a lightweight crepe-like fabric and is fully lined for extra coverage. It also has an elastic waistband for easy on and off, while the length falls to about midcalf, depending on your height. But the selling point of this skirt—besides it being 40 percent off—is that it’s cut on the bias, effortlessly hugging curves like a knit fabric.
