Noah Centineo Says He'll Be Spider-Man for Halloween — If Tom Holland Is Peter Kavinsky

This just made all my dreams come true.

It’s never too early to start thinking about Halloween, and Noah Centineo already has a creative idea for a costume — one that also involves Tom Holland.

The idea has to do with a scene in To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before that never made it to the movie. Fans who fell hard for Jenny Han’s novel prior to its release on Netflix will recall a festive Halloween scene in which Peter Kavinsky dressed as Spider-Man (AKA, Peter Parker... get it?) while Lara Jean Covey was in full Harry Potter mode as Cho Chang. Obviously, drama ensued: Josh Sanderson dressed as Harry, which set Peter into a tailspin of jealousy, even though Lara Jean told him she did not plan to match with Josh. (Peter’s entire crew dressed as superheroes, and Gen matched them as Cat-Woman; our boy Peter wasn’t so upset about that. Hmmm.) Even Jenny Han herself was disappointed to see the sweet Halloween moment cut from the film, telling Teen Vogue that there might have been a rights issue surrounding Spider-Man’s costume.

So Noah might have missed his chance to dress as the classic superhero on camera, but he’s ready to make up for it now. “I don’t think we shot that,” he told Teen Vogue, before having what can only be described as a brilliant lightbulb moment. “You know what? If Tom Holland is down to go as Peter Kavinsky, I'll go as Spider-Man.”

Wait, hold on. Is Noah challenging Tom to a costume swap? A role exchange? A straight-up universe crossover? Brb while I start brainstorming some To All the Boys / Spider-Man fanfiction.

However, not long after this revelation, Noah conceded that it might not be a totally fair deal. “Unfortunately, Spider-Man is way cooler than Peter Kavinsky, with the whole super power thing,” he said, adding that the Avengers actor might be getting the short end of the stick. “Tom, I don’t even know if you should really go for this offer.”

I’d like to think I speak for the entire internet (or at least all Peter Kavinsky and Spider-Man stans) when I say yes, Tom should definitely go for this offer, and this must absolutely happen IRL. Preferably with pictures. Or an Instagram live. Or a Halloween party where the two Peters finally face off.

Tom? If you’re listening…it’s your move.
