  • Noah Centineo and Lana Condor won "Best Kiss" for To All the Boys I've Loved Before at the MTV Movie & TV Awards.

  • Obviously, they gave a kickass speech.

We all know the MTV Movie and TV Awards "Best Kiss" trophy has ridiculously tough competition (see: the huge list of talented people who won it). But as anyone who's seen To All the Boys I've Loved Before knows, Noah Centineo and Lana Condor were basically the frontrunners anyway (because CHEMISTRY duh). So when they won, it was not exactly a shocker.

Still, the duo made the moment into a moment with their banter during their acceptance speech, and it was a night highlight.

“Wow. About a year and a half ago we made this little movie and we had no idea this was gonna happen,” Lana said. “This is all because of you guys, the fans. Thank you.”

Noah kept his speech short and sweet, with the already-iconic line: “Thanks to Lana’s lips.”

When it works, it works. But thankfully for everyone hanging on their every word, Lana had more to say. “I just wanted to say thank you to Noah for being an amazing partner. And also, kiss who you wanna kiss, love who you wanna love and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.”
