Noah Centineo's Instagram Has Been Hacked

If the idea of the internet's new fave Peter Kavinsky suddenly giving away free iPhone 8s, iPhone Xs, Apple Watches, and assorted gift cards seems too good to be true, that's because it absolutely is. Late Sunday night, Noah Centineo's Instagram appears to have been hacked; shortly after the hackers advertised those "giveaways" — which are, again, 100% fake — on Noah's page, the To All the Boys I've Loved Before star turned to a different social media account to share the news of the cyberattack.

"Unfortunately I have absolutely no IPhone X's to giveaway. Which leads me to my next point, My instagram is Hacked," he tweeted. The post was soon flooded with replies. Several fans offered Noah an idea for an alternate, non-iPhone giveaway: "can you giveaway love letters then," one wrote. (Seconded.) Others made jokes about how strange of a coincidence it was that Noah's Instagram had been hacked after he'd hacked their hearts, and plenty more suggested that the culprit behind the hack was a certain mischievous 11-year-old.

As of Monday morning, several of the hacker's posts were still up on Noah's IG. A series of three posts on his feed tell followers to check his Instagram Story for links to the giveaways, and those Story posts promise a "limited stock" of iPhone Xs, iPhone 8s, Apple Watches, and gift cards. The hacker even went a step further, saving those Stories in individual saved Highlights on Noah's page. For the record, definitely do not swipe up or click on any of those shady links!

The hack comes just a few days after Noah spoke to W about what it's been like to gain millions of Insta followers in the span of only a few weeks. "Whatever the numbers are, it's just a device, you know? It's not like all of a sudden, I have 2.4 million people with me all the time. Nothing's really changed in my day to day. For now!" he said, jokingly adding, "Well, until my head gets so big I float up to Mars or something." Though Noah's follower count had surged up to 2.4 million at the time of that interview, in the week or so since, it's soared to a whopping 5.1 million. Hopefully, Noah will regain control of his account before he hits 6 mil!
