Tiffany Haddish Thinks the Internet Took What She Said About Brad Pitt Too Seriously
Tiffany Haddish is very, very funny. We all know this by now. Her performance in Girls Trip was perfection, and the anecdotes she's given since then about her run-ins with celebrities have been amazing. Her story about Beyoncé was in the news for weeks, and now she's giving people life (again) with a tidbit about Brad Pitt.
Haddish joked to Kelly Ripa at the Oscars earlier this week that she and Brad Pitt agreed to date each other if they were single in 2019. "I just met him in the elevator! He said in one year, if he's single and I'm single, we gonna do it, so you know what that means.… He told me to wait a year," Haddish said.
Naturally, this soundbite took off, with far too many people thinking what she said was gospel. She cleared things up, once and for all, on Twitter when TMZ reported the story like it was serious fact. "So funny to me, it was a Joke but I love how serious you all are," Haddish tweeted. "I want to be number one in a man’s life. He has a lot of kids that would make me what number 8 or at best baby Mama 2. And as much as I would love to chitchat with Angie that is not what I want to be talking about."
