Disney’s Best-Kept Secret Is This Keto-Friendly Appetizer
The first thing one notices at Art Smith's Disney Springs restaurant? The overwhelming presence of chicken-related decor. The second? That the menu's not entirely filled with chicken-there are also a few healthy, hidden gems. One of them is the Key West Shrimp Cocktail, which is a towering seafood delight that is entirely keto.
Yup, as the demand for more keto-friendly items hit, Disney-an organization you might not think of as a paragon of healthy foods-responded in their own little ways, the gorgeous appetizer among them.
So! What does a keto Disney appetizer look like? In this case, it's a six-inch-tall tower topped with seafood. For starters, chefs combine pickled cukes, shredded cabbage, and a special cocktail sauce. From there, they lay it all down (in a very tall ramekin) atop a bed of more sauce.

Some mango, avocado, and chopped up shrimp are added to the mix before the crowning glory: two interlocking large shrampies. Once the ramekin is peeled away, you're left with a lil mountain of healthy things, all of which you can get in a single bite if you angle your fork correctly.
Oh, and assuming you did not come to Disney for the keto-tastic dishes, there is a lot of chicken on the menu. And some pretty bomb mac & cheese. But again, that's just in the off chance you didn't fly to Orlando to eat healthy.
