• Taylor Swift recently went on Instagram Live to announce her new album Lover and Lindsay Lohan hopped into her comments.

• Fans are fully flipping out over Lindsay's series of musings during Taylor's IG Live, including "my mom was in cats."

So, yesterday Taylor Swift hit up Instagram Live to make some big announcements: 1) she has a new album coming out called Lover, so get excited 2) she dropped a new single called "You Need to Calm Down," which may or may not be trolling Trump, and 3) she's about to drop a new music video. And naturally, Taylor's fans flooded Instagram Live to tune into her announcements-including...Lindsay Lohan?

For reasons that have everyone fully ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, Lindsay hopped into Taylor's Instagram Live and began spamming her with comments that ranged from nice, to weird, to troll-y. Let's see, there was a heart-eye emoji, "my mom was in cats" (incredible), "we think you're great," and my personal favorite "you should respond" followed by "to your fans."

As exciting as Taylor's new single is, the best part of this entire experience is obviously Lindsay Lohan's standom, and twitter simply can't. Like it's trying to can, but it can't!

Wow, just when you think the mystery that is Lindsay Lohan has been solved, she goes and does this. A living legend truly walks among us. Also, some personal news: I'm going to start responding to all celebrity Instagram Lives with "my mom was in cats" henceforth, thank you for your time.
