From Town & Country

Jessica Mulroney is taking a break from social media. The stylist and influencer, who is perhaps best known for her close association with Duchess of Sussex, hasn't posted on Twitter or Instagram since early June, when she "decided to step away" from her professional engagements in order to "reflect, learn and focus on my family."

This period of reflection was prompted by influencer Sasha Exeter accusing Mulroney of using her "textbook white privilege" and of sending threatening messages, of which Exeter had proof. Watch Exeter's video about Mulroney below, and read a more in-depth summary of what happened here.

Mulroney has since apologized to Exeter, and is facing consequences for the incident; notably, CTV is no longer airing her wedding reality series I Do Redo, and Mulroney will no longer appear on Good Morning America.

In the weeks following Exeter's video, rumors have also swirled that Meghan Markle had a falling out with her close friend over how she handled the situation, and that Mulroney is possibly writing a tell-all book about the Duchess. "Mulroney is now at her wits' end and is considering writing a tell-all book about Meghan 'because she has nothing to lose,'" the Daily Mail reported in July.

But Mulroney's husband Ben recently set the record straight on Twitter. While his wife is still on her social media sabbatical, he clarified with a Tweet that a Daily Mail's story headlined "'Devastated' Jessica Mulroney is calling best friend Meghan Markle non-stop in a bid to patch up their friendship but to no avail - and is considering writing a tell-all book about the Duchess because 'she has nothing to lose'" is FALSE.

We'll continue to update should the Mulroneys' comment on this rumor further.
