NJ Skateshop and New Balance Celebrate Jersey History with this Shoe and Video

NJ Skateshop and New Balance Numeric are releasing a custom 440 model dedicated to Roosevelt Stadium formerly located on Route 440 in Jersey City.

Built in 1937, named after our 26th president and dedicated to the memory of those from Jersey City who gave the ultimate sacrifice in war, Roosevelt Stadium hosted every manner of sporting event, the biggest names in rock music in the 1970s as well being home of the Jersey City Giants minor league team, who hosted Jackie Robinson in his very first game of professional baseball in America.

"July 15th, 2023 marks the official 20 Years of NJ Skateshop. We are proud to honor the legendary stadium and Jersey City's distinguished place in history, as well as the memory of all those that have given their life for our freedom, with the release of this limited edition New Balance Numeric 440."

Filmed and edited by Tom Gorelik Music: Penn Station performed by The Jack Moves
