Nina Dobrev and Shaun White Go Christmas Tree Shopping in Instagram Photos

White celebrated by trying to make their dog the Christmas tree topper.
Nina Dobrev and her boyfriend, professional snowboarder Shaun White, are fully getting into the holiday spirit, spending time together searching for the perfect Christmas tree.
Dobrev shared a couple of photos on Instagram along with a cute video of the couple, with Dobrev's sweet dog Maverick picking out the tree they ultimately took home.
The Vampire Diaries actress simply captioned the post with a Christmas tree emoji. Dobrev and White appear to be in New York City in the photos, looking for a tree to decorate their apartment.
In the video post, White jokingly lifts Maverick up, as if to make the dog the official tree topper, but it almost goes sideways when White struggles to hold on to the dog.
Thankfully, Maverick makes it back to the ground safely.
Dobrev's followers loved the cute holiday moment, with one person commenting, "mav is the perfect christmas tree topper 😌🐶."
White and Dobrev first sparked dating rumors in early 2020, making their relationship Instagram official in May of that year, when Dobrev posted a photo of herself giving White a quarantine haircut.
She captioned the funny photo, "Adding to resume: hairdresser ✂️."
But eagle-eyed fans noticed that White made an appearance in a social media post on Dobrev's account even earlier.
In April 2020, Dobrev shared a hilarious video of someone else being her hands as she instructed people on how to "wash your groceries."
The actress tried to keep it together, but she couldn't help but giggle as White, whose arms fans realized were in the video, played around with the concept.
Over two years later, Dobrev and White are still going strong, and fans hope to see more holiday cheer and celebration from the couple this season.
