Over the July 1 weekend, popular YouTuber, WWE wrestler and Prime energy drink co-owner Logan Paul, 28, reportedly got engaged in romantic Lake Como, Italy.
While Paul is no stranger to news coverage, people want to know more about his new fiancée, Nina Agdal.
Who is Nina Agdal?
Nina Agdal, 31, The Daily Mail reports, is a former Sports Illustrated model who stole the wrestling personality’s heart and helped him “clean up his act” after the two started dating just over a year ago.
Agdal grew up in Denmark before Sports Illustrated featured her as a “Rookie of the Year” cover model in 2012.
She also appeared on the cover alongside Chrissy Teigen and Lily Aldridge. The magazine last ran a feature on Agdal in March 2023, celebrating her 31st birthday.
“Sports Illustrated Swimsuit and MJ Day [editor-in-chief] were the ones to put my name on the map and that helped me pursue my modeling career in a way that wouldn’t have been possible without them,” Agdal told the magazine.
Along with modeling, Agdal also runs her own app-based health-coaching business — the Agdal Method (@theagdalmethod).
In 2020, Agdal founded the Agdal Method, which claims to help users find “happiness in movement, fulfillment in nourishment, practicing mindfulness and selflove.”
The Agdal Method features a nutritional guide and workouts, along with wellness resources and a community to help users. Membership on the app requires a gym membership to complete most workouts and costs $14.99 a month.
How did Nina Agdal and Logan Paul meet?
During her modeling career, Agdal moved to New York City with her dog, Daisy. It was in the Big Apple where she met her future fiancé. She had previously been in a relationship with actor Leonardo DiCaprio, whom she dated in 2017 when he was 42 and she was 25.
After dating DiCaprio, Agdal dated Christie Brinkley’s son, Jack Brinkley-Cook, for four years. When they split, Agdal was 29, and Brinkley-Cook was 26.
People reported that, according to Agdal, she and Paul then met when she knew Paul would be attending an event. Once there, her “gut was screaming she had to say hi to him.”
The model explained that she convinced Paul and his friends to come back to her room with her friends for drinks. The two hit it off right away.
“It instantly felt like I had known him for years, and here we are,” she told the magazine. “It was wild!”
The two began dating in 2022, and while they only went “Instagram official” at the start of the New Year in 2023, Agdal has been a proud supporter of Paul’s, often appearing on his social media posts.
The couple recently celebrated their one-year dating anniversary in May 2023, with Paul posting on Instagram before popping the question only weeks later.
Agdal and Paul also share a love of wellness — she told Sports Illustrated in March that the two enjoy cold-plunging in Puerto Rico daily for five to eight minutes in 39-degree Fahrenheit water whenever they travel.
Now that the couple are engaged, according to Agdal, starting a family with Paul could be on the table soon.
“I would love to start a family within the next decade, too,” she told Sports Illustrated. “Who knows what will happen, but I am so excited to see how it all unfolds.”
