Nikki Reed’s Comments on Motherhood Never Slowing Down Is Making Moms Everywhere Feel Seen

Yet again, Nikki Reed’s comments on motherhood remind everyone that while being a mom and living life can get complicated, we’re all just doing our best. And that’s more than okay!

In a Dec 28 interview with NewBeauty, the businesswoman talked about how “raising babies is the most important thing for me.” Along with that, she talked in the same recent interview about how, right when she feels she can calm down, life decides to be hectic again (especially by being a mother of two)!

“Let me tell you, life is so busy and so wonderful. But life has gotten incredibly busy, and it doesn’t look like it’s slowing down any time soon,” she said. “I feel like every time I say, ‘This is the year of slowdown,’ things just rev up!”

This comment is really resonating with mothers, and making them feel seen. Right when you want things calm, they’re the exact opposite. But don’t worry, because as Reed has said in the past, moms are amazing and deserve to give themselves more credit.

Reed and Somerhalder were first linked together in July 2014, and within less than a year, they tied the knot at Topanga Canyon in Malibu, California, on April 26, 2015.

Since then, they’ve welcomed two children. Reed and Somerhalder have a daughter named Bodhi Soleil, born on July 25, 2017, and a son, whose name they haven’t disclosed yet, born on June 29, 2023.
