Nikki Bella and twin sister Brie Bella are celebrating a very special Mother’s Day this year. The reality stars and professional wrestling duo both gave birth to baby boys last summer, a mere one day apart. While Brie marked the birth of her second child, Buddy, it was Nikki who became a mom for the first time with her son, Matteo.
Twin motherhood? Talk about serious bonding #goals.
“It’s like having a doctor on speed dial lol,” Nikki told In The Know via email. “Since Brie has been through it all before, I can go to her first with all my first-time mom questions.”
For Brie, it’s all about the connection and understanding. “[Nikki] understands the highs and lows,” the mom of two, who’s married to WWE star Daniel Bryan, shared over email. “She understands when I’m too tired or need help. It’s fun to be able to talk about motherhood with her with zero judgment.”
With Nikki celebrating Mother’s Day for the first time, her fiancé Artem Chigvintsev and baby Matteo are pulling out all the stops. “My boys are surprising me with a brunch,” Nikki shared. “Depending on the nap schedule, as well, I’ll either be getting served by Teo and Artem or do something special that Napa Valley has to offer! I’m so excited!”
This Mother’s Day is extra special to Brie for another reason. “This Mother’s Day will be different because it’s Birdie’s birthday on Mother’s Day,” revealed the mom of two, whose daughter will be turning 4 on Sunday. “It’ll also feel more chaotic and loud, but that’s what I love about being a mom.”
