The former WWE Divas Champions are hanging up their belts—and their surnames.

The Bella Twins are no more!

The professional wrestling tag team made up of Brie and Nikki Bella broke the news to fans via their podcast ,The Nikki and Brie Show, on March 14, where they announced that not only were they not renewing their contract with the WWE, but they'd also be dropping their stage names and returning to their birth names of Brie and Nikki Garcia, both 39.

The subscription-based episode shared a sneak peek on YouTube, where Nikki listed off several of their ventures, including motherhood (Nikki shares two-year-old son Matteo with husband Artem Chigvintsev and Brie shares daughter Birdie, 5, and son Buddy, 2, with husband Bryan Danielson) and entrepreneurship, before sharing, "When our contract came up with WWE, mutually we all knew we just needed to head into this new chapter."

But just because they're leaving their former personas behind, it doesn't mean they're forgetting them.

"I just want to thank Brie Bella. Brie Bella the character, the name, all of it that I have been the last 16, 17 years," Brie followed up. "I am so excited to close that chapter on Brie Bella, put that book to the side, and open up a new one and see what Brie Garcia is gonna do next."

"I am so beyond grateful for Nikki Bella," her sister agreed. "She empowered me, she inspired me, she truly made me become fearless." She also made sure to confirm that she will continue down "the road that she has paved and what she's done for women and the youth...just as Nikki Garcia."

The two have already proven that they can do just about anything they set their minds to, so we can't wait to see what comes next!
