Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev Did *Not* Secretly Get Married, You Guys
Good Morning America aired a promo clip for Dancing With the Stars and referred to Nikki Bella as Artem Chigvintsev's wife.
Fans think they've tied the knot, but sources tell TMZ it isn't true.
Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev are total couples goals, amirite or amirite? They got off to a bit of an unconventional start—i.e. connecting as dance partners on Dancing With the Stars while she was engaged to wrestler John Cena—but things looked up for Nikki and Artem once her engagement to John ended in 2018. They casually dated from March to July 2019, became serious, and ended the year engaged to each other! But now people are wondering if Nikki and Artem are legit married now, thanks to Good Morning America. Allow me to explain.
In a promotional clip GMA aired for the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars, fans were given clues so they could guess that Artem's returning to the show. One of those clues just so happened to be about Nikki...who they referred to as his "wife."
Naturally, this caused fans of Nikki and Artem's to wonder if they secretly tied the knot. Don't worry though—TMZ set the record.
According to TMZ's sources, Nikki and Artem are not married, and Good Morning America made a mistake in their promo. The couple still wants to get married, but they don't want to have a socially-distanced wedding. In the meantime, Nikki and Artem are making a point to plan for the big day, but they're apparently going to keep their wedding on hold until after the pandemic.
Besides! Nikki and Artem have enough on their hands right now, like the baby boy they just welcomed at the beginning of the month.
