Nike's Air Jordan 5 Low "Dongdan" Gets An Official Release Date

UPDATE: After the new colorway was first teased back in May, Nike has finally announced the launch of the cotton candy-hued Air Jordan 5 Low "Dongdan." The official release date is set for August 3 via SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $190 USD. For more info, check out the original story below.

Jordan Brand is back with another Air Jordan 5 Low colorway, landing in a tonal "Dongdan" color scheme.

For this iteration, the nubuck upper arrives in a solid black hue, contrasted by exposed white stitching across its base layer panels. The silhouette's typical mid-foot netting arrives with its standard see-through build, paired with cotton candy cloud prints across the shoe's insoles. Elsewhere, official logos appear embroidered on heels, complete with midsole spikes and pale pink backdrops.

Completing the design are dusky pink accents landing on the sneaker's lace toggles and stitches, complete with a special-edition shoe box adorned with the same sunset-like cloud graphics as its insoles. The black and lilac color scheme bears similarities to the brand's recent "Indigo Haze" colorway, but seemingly flips the subtle color palette on its head for this iteration.
