The Nike SB Born X Raised Dunk drops this week

Born X Raised has been a staple in LA since its inception in 2013. With Spanto's untimely death this year, this shoe release is a special one.
"My job here was to make a film that would honor Spanto’s promises to his family, his people, his neighborhood and to himself. I did the best I could, all the while thinking, “this here he would love, or, this part would drive him nuts and we would be yelling at each other over this scene”. That was the relationship, we are both stubborn and opinionated and when we aligned, it was magic.I did what I do, and what we have all been doing together for the past decade at BXR. We gather together, dive in, and make it work.This was the most important project to Spanto and the longest developed project behind the scenes for BXR. It’s been a pleasure working with everyone on the Nike side, the BXR side, and all the talent that lent their time, and, most importantly Spanto’s people who came together to make this work. Thank you to all the people from the neighborhood and beyond that showed up and worked hard in his memory.This ones for y’all.Thank you.ALEX/2TONE"
