Set Sail With Jack Skellington on a 'Nightmare Before Christmas' Booze Cruise
Nightmare Before Christmas season is still alive and well because—guess what—it's still before Christmas! To get you back into the spooky spirit, there's a series of themed booze cruises and beer festivals coming up where you can put on your best Oogie Boogie costume.
The Nightmare Before Brews Cruise takes place on a mega yacht that is transformed into a Halloween-meets-Christmas spectacular. Your favorite characters from the film will be roaming the ship so you can take photos and just generally interact with them. There will also be live music from the Skeleton Sisters who will be singing songs from the movie (I'm sure you're encouraged to sing along), as well as a dance party with DJ Oogie Claus. Classic.
And because it's a beer cruise, the event will also feature tastings of different winter, pumpkin, and holiday ales. If you're not exactly a beer drinker, never fear; you can also get your hands on winter comfort food and "Halloween-inspired Christmas cocktails." Whatever that means. All I know is in a promo video for the event, people were pouring beer out of a giant ice block made to look like Jack Skellington, so yeah, I'm in!
The cruise will take place in Portland, OR, on November 23 and tickets will run you $45. That includes access to the cruise, a tasting of all the beers, photo ops, a souvenir cup, AND access to all entertainment. Not a bad deal!
